Josh is 6 months old...

Wow.  Time has flown by!  


Josh turned 6 months old on Friday, the 20th.  He decided that 6 months was his "milestone month" as he's hit a ton of them this week!

- He started scooting and has progressed into being on all fours.  Nothing is safe anymore!


- He cut his first tooth!  This has been a LONG time coming so we are all really grateful to have our happy boy back.


- He's thoroughly enjoying solid foods.  Since Anna didn't like them at all, I wasn't holding my breath that Josh would love them.  But he does!  Rice cereal is his favorite, but he enjoys peas and green beans as well.  Just wait until he tries the fruits... :)


- He loves to wave when you walk into his sightline.  There is nothing like a full-body, gleeful welcome when you smile in his direction!


- We are finally conquering the intense eczema/ cradle cap that he has been battling since he was about 6 weeks old.  While he still seems sensitive to petroleum-based products, we have found a great line of lotions and washes that seem to be working.  He also seems less miserable which makes this momma feel a whole lot better, too.


- He is a talker!  While he has always liked to make noise, he has progressed to forming distinct sounds.  Sometimes it sounds like real words... hmmm...


- His arms are 4 feet long!  Ok, not really, but it sure seems like it!  If that boy wants something, he will stop at nothing to get it.  Nothing like a mobile, curious kid to make you baby-proof your house in a hurry!


It never ceases to amaze me how fast kiddos grow and develop.  It's hard to believe just how much Josh will change in 6 more months!
