We're going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo...

(A trip to the zoo always puts that old Raffi song into my head!)

Anyway, to celebrate Anna's first birthday with all our family and friends, we made a trip to the Columbus Zoo. It was a great day, a little windy (of course), but sunny and warmer. It was a great time had by all, and we were all in bed early that night!

Anna slept through the first part of the party, but it made for a much happier Anna later.

We had to tailgate for the picnic part of the day, but it worked.

It was great to have the Climies join us!

The girls loved spending the day with some of their best friends.

The petting zoo was a hit. The animals were very used to having kids around and let our kids attack them with combs and brushes.
