What a GORGEOUS spring day we had on Saturday. In fact, the whole weekend was nice! Since we didn't have a lot to do, we spent the whole day outside and visiting with friends. There was no way we were going to waste this sunshine after such a long wait.
Since we don't have much of a yard at our place, we opted to take the girls over to Metzger Park, often referred to as "The Rainbow Park" due to the colorful towers and the bright rainbow painted over the entrance to the fenced in play space.
At the entrance to the park, there is a walking path that encircles the entire park grounds. Along the path, we came across a small "cliff" overlooking the grounds. It was beautiful and a great view. The girls loved climbing the rocks and feeling on top of the world.
Apparently, Anna is a bit bored with our walk around the park.
This is a view of the play space. It is full of towers and bridges, a sandbox and great slides. There is no limit to the amount of imaginative play that goes on. My girls could spend hours and hours just dreaming and escaping into their own little world of make believe.
Us... Yes, my girls have chaperones, though they could really care less.

What's missing? Yep, every swing from every park in Louisville.
Why? Not sure.
